This Privacy Policy covers the PlakaNet desktop application (WinUI 3 for Windows 10/11) and our official website.

PlakaNet runs on‑prem by default and processes data locally.

When you operate PlakaNet within your own infrastructure, you are the data controller. As the software vendor, we do not process your data except for updates and optional support services.

Cloud or third‑party integrations are enabled only by your configuration.

Plate text, timestamps, camera identifiers, entry/exit events.

Optional visual data: screenshots (captures), recorded video, vehicle images.

Operator actions (manual overrides/notes), system logs and error reports.

Paid parking mode: duration, tariff and receipt information (not designed to contain personal data).

Access control, security and parking operations (legitimate interest/performance of contract).

Audit and incident logs (legitimate interest).

Compliance with legal obligations (where applicable).

No marketing/analytics by default; never without consent.

By default, data does not leave your device/network.

HTTP/TCP device, LED board and barrier integrations call only endpoints you configure.

International transfers happen only if you enable external integrations.

Retention is configurable. Typical defaults: transactions 90 days, images 30 days.

Automatic cleanup removes expired data.

Disk encryption (e.g., BitLocker), access control (Windows accounts), role‑based operator permissions.

TLS 1.2+/1.3 for communications, certificate validation (pinning where possible).

Integrity checks, logging and anomaly detection.

No third‑party processors by default.

Any cloud/integration services you configure are governed by their own terms.

You may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability rights under applicable law.

Submit requests to your organization’s data controller. We can provide software tools to facilitate requests.

PlakaNet is not intended for children and does not knowingly process children’s personal data.

The desktop app uses no cookies. Our website may use only strictly necessary cookies.
